Hi Joan, I think you should be fine. I would have said avoid organic bean sprouts….but that has now been dis-guarded now too. Don’t worry about it, the levels of infection have fallen substantially. Keep an eye on the news and follow local advice. But you should be fine. And remember to wash all produce well…have a great holiday

Puerto del Carmen was the original resort of Lanzarote and is still the largest. The Avenida, known locally as “The Strip” runs for 6km along the front with golden sandy beaches on one side and shops and restaurants on the other. This is the closest resort to the airport and now has a golf course on the outskirts towards Tías. The old harbour area is popular for eating and drinking and Centro Atlantico is the hot spot for nightclubs.

We stayed in the Gloria Palace Royal Hotel in the Canary Islands Puerto Rico… i just have to say, The hotel is stunning, great large rooms with walk in shower, all have sea view. I went myself for massages, to relax & use the Spa – I was not disappointed at all. I was all inclusive & the food is also great – such a variety.
A definite must if you are looking for a luxury treat of pampering & relaxation.
